Just below Victoria Falls, the Zambezi erupts into one of the finest one-day white-water runs on earth. Between towering basalt walls you'll punch through rapids with names like Stairway to Heaven and Oblivion, with calm pools in between to catch your breath and soak up the gorge.
Every trip runs with experienced local guides and full safety kit, so first-timers and seasoned paddlers are equally at home. Low-water season brings the biggest, cleanest rapids; high water is a wilder ride.
